'WKYC Exclusive: McCain would lose Ohio to either Obama or Clinton'
An exclusive WKYC-TV/SurveyUSA poll of Ohio voters shows either Sen. Barack Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton would defeat Sen. John McCain in the general election.
Clinton beats McCain by 10 percentage points, while Obama's margin over McCain is 3 percent.

The survey polled 542 registered voters across Ohio. The exclusive poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3%.

Hillary Clinton's margin over John McCain was 52% to 42%, with 7% undecided. Barack Obama's lead was 47% to 44% in a head-to-head contest, with 8% of Ohio voters saying they could not yet decide that match-up.

3. I've decided either candidate can beat McCain, although Clinton would
have a tougher time since she immediately causes the Republicans to unify. The bottom line, even for sane Republicans, is a vote for McBush is a vote for war. They've got the lunatic 20% who want war, but the rest are swayable.

5. Agree, and believe that this year ...
may see a monumental shift akin to what happened in 1980 (albeit with the good guys winning this time). That was a 49-state landslide that also delivered the Senate to the GOP. The Blue Dogs in the House aligned with GOP in the House, and the 1980s assault on women, minorities, & lower income Americans was unleashed. Meanwhile, General Dynamics & Northrop-Grumman fattened themselves on the taxpayer's dime, and Central American priests and nuns helping the poor felt the cold steel of rifle muzzles against the backs of their heads.

It'll take a landslide of similar proportions to begin to reverse the damage done in the past 28 years by the GOP in the White House & Congress. I just hope it's not too late. Certainly our image abroad will take more than an election to restore. I still can't believe how far this country has sunk in my lifetime, but perhaps, like an alcoholic, you have to hit bottom before you can recover. Maybe this November will provide the country with a collective moment of clarity.

4. Clinton's lead is beyond the margin of error, Obama's is inside it
But early as it may be, this is encouraging. It shows a bit of a disconnect though about perceptions in Ohio. In polling I've seen lately Obama edges Clinton for perceived "electability" with Democratic voters, polling of the General public - there in the identified most critical swing state, shows otherwise.
