How about Richard Clarke for Secretary of Defense?
There is no way anyone would ever be able to claim the Democrats are soft on terrorism with him around. The anti-terrorism activities of the Kerry administration (which would involve going after actual terrorists instead of just bombing random Arab countries with lots of oil) would destroy the misconception the Republicans are better on defense.

1. How about Richard Clarke for VP?
Ol' Crash Cart would never show up for that debate.

2. He would be better suited for
National Security Advisor, or Homeland Security Director.

His specialty is security & terror, not the military.

3. concur
he isn't a military type -- security advisor would be a very strong role for him.

4. Kerry should announce Clarke, Holbrooke and Albright,
for SoD, SoS, and National Security Advisor respectively, about three days after he announces his VP--at a big national security event. That would take the fear wind right out of Chimp's sails.
