When they played it the other night at the Wisconsin Democratic Party thing I thought it was an unfortunate choice by the party's DJ, but after just watching CSPAN I see she is using it as her theme song. LOL

1. Actually, it's one of her better song choices. Not that that's saying much.
It would appeal to Baby Boomer women who remember the movie fondly. Besides, don't be dissing Dolly! ;)

4. Im dissapointed with that choice
Highway To Hell by AC/DC would have been more representative of the Clinton campaign.

5. That's what I would choose
were I a writer for a prime-time comedy.

That or "Brandy" by Looking Glass.

6. Is there a point?
Can you be more specific about your concerns with this particular song?

9. More like Islands in the Stream...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lixDK_tMEhE

With Bill as her very own Kenny Rogers.

- Dave

P.S. And the stream of history is passing these two islands by.

14. I believe that song is representative of how alot of people feel.

Tumble outta bed
And I stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition
And yawn and stretch
And try to come to life
Jump in the shower
And the blood starts pumpin'
Out on the street
The traffic starts jumpin'
The folks like me on the job from 9 to 5

Workin' 9 to 5,
What a way to make a livin'
Barely gettin' by
It's all takin' and no givin'
They just use your mind
And they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you crazy
If you let it
9 to 5, for service and devotion
You would think that I
Would deserve a fat promotion
Want to move ahead
But the boss won't seem to let me
I swear sometimes that man is out to get me

They let you dream
Just to watch 'em shatter
You're just a step
On the boss-man's ladder
But you got dreams
He'll never take away
You're in the same boat
With a lotta your friends
Waitin' for the day your ship'll come in
'N' the tide's gonna turn
And it's all gonna roll your way

9 to 5, yeah
They got you where they want you
There's a better life
And you dream about it, don't you
It's a rich man's game
No matter what they call it

---------------

That is exactly how I felt when I was a slave in the corporate world.

17. The music's good too. It's actually a pretty great song.
I guess the Obamatrons are just so totally embarrassed by anything musical that wasn't written last week.

18. Oy.
Building another bridge to the 20th century?

Maybe she should portray herself as 'the true Lawrence Walk candidate'.

Honestly, it all seems so self-sabotaging, so damaging to her political career, that it just doesn't add up anymore.
