how are we doing with fundraising

I heard Kerry has raised around 7 million since Super Tuesday, is that a good pace? Bad pace? I know we can't match Bush's war chest, but are we on track to at least be somewhat competitive? What the Dems fundraising goal.

I hope we didn't blow most of it during the primary season.

1. It's got more to do with the in and out numbers than just fundraising.

The last I saw, Kerry had $2M cash on hand and Bush had $104M. Luckily, he's getting a good bit of free press.

Bush will out-fundraise Kerry. Kerry will have to win it on the issues.

Now I really fear we blew it in the primaries.

bush will use that money to mobilize on the ground, we need to counter it with $$$ of our own!

3. But we CAN'T not donate (even a few bucks) it will make a HUGE difference.

It's a long haul until the election and every dollar (and vote) will count, to stop these fascist...and we must do ALL we can to expose the bullshit black box voting machine (BBV) electronic voting machines, their ace in the hole, as we all know it will let the right wing fascist slime their way in.

4. Must donate before convention

I heard the FEC guy who was on C-Span. He said in the GE that only federal funds are allowed. So wouldn't that mean no donations after the end of June?

5. Why should I give $ to a man whose wife is worth $500 million?

And who really really wants to pay off that $6 million mortgage he got with that extra special 3% interest only financing.

What gets paid first? The mortgage or funding for the campaign?

Hmmmm.

I say he should sell the house and donate that money to his campaign. Once he shows he can sacrifice, then maybe other people will sacrifice in order to help him out.

But I am not donating money to pay off his mortgage.
