Why is CNN the only major news website to still not show that Obama won Maine???
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 08:54 PM by RoadRage
It's 7:45 Central time.

Fox, MSNBC & USA Today all have "Obama Wins Maine" as their lead story... and have for the past hour.

www.cnn.com is the only website to not say anything about Maine, and has their lead story of Clinton (nice big picture of her) stating that she's going to shake up her campaign.

I'm starting to see why they're being called the Clinton News Network.

Edited to add: They do have the story in their politics section - but not on the front page like the other sites do.

8. Yeah.. i thought it was some over-zealous Obama fans...
But this has me wondering... if you click into their politics section, and then type in Maine, you can see he won it.. but you certainly have to dig. So, they KNOW he won.. they just don't want to talk about it.

19. Ohh.. they know..
it's on their politics page, and now they have a small link under their hillary story on the main page that says "OBama sweeps Maine".. small.. no lead story.. nothing. Typical

5. Not sure when it was posted
Link

They posted it awhile ago, and they marked the race as called on the Maine page before anyone else. I found it odd they did not cover their calling it on TV until almost 25 minutes after they called it online, they waited until the top of the hour.

It's just not anywhere on the front page, like it is for all of the other sites.

18. Thanks.. i know it's ON CNN if you dig, but my point is that it's not on the front page
like all of the other websites have it right now.

It's the top story on MSNBC, FOX & USATODAY, but isn't even mentioned on the front page of CNN. You have to dig in politics to find it.

Thanks for the link though!

16. Right.. after 900 stories about "Clinton gets such a bad rap in the media"..
I'm not whining. I'm pointing out an interesting comparision.. 3 out of 4 major news outlets SCREAM Obama wins on their front pages. One does not. This same site has been accused of bias to Clinton.. and i'm showing that bias may have a basis.

Not whining - pointing out facts.
