Pledge to donate your "economic stimulus check" to the Democratic candidates

Since Uncle Sucker decided we need to borrow more money from our grandkids to keep this teetering economy afloat and will be graciously sending out $600 to $800 checks to nearly everyone with a pulse, I urge you to join me in pledging to donate a huge chuck of that money to the Democratic party or Democratic candidate of your choice.

We must sweep out the Republicans not only from the White House, but from every locality, state, and Congressional seat wherever possible.

What better irony than to use this money against them and push them out of power with it?

1. Well thats asinine

Thats the money I would have gotten on the next tax return (below the line) so If i give it up I dont get anything next year, the very definition of "my money".

2. For most people it is unnecessary

They want us to go out and buy "things" with this money.

I'd rather use it to fuel change.

But for those who are considering going out to buy another "thing" with that money, I'd hope they'll reconsider and use that money to fuel change.

Mainly because this isn't money you had in the first place, so it's not like you'll miss it if you use a portion of it for a larger cause.
