This whole speech in Maine is like a guided tour of his platform.

EDIT: Go to CNN.com/video and click on CNN live to watch it.

1. He should have been doing that earlier
He's always had the specifics, but hasn't talked about them and so he let the Hillary people spin him as having no specifics.

3. How many have you seen? He's specific in every presentation. Intertwined with the "feel good" he's
a very good speaker.

7. I've watched several, but this one is more specific than the one he gave in my home state.
I totally agree, Obama has never been all just "feel good" but he's really going issue by issue here in a way I haven't seen him do yet.

Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 04:35 PM by Levgreee
not new, of course people don't listen to these speeches. He doesn't give such a strong outline in his victory speeches after a voting day, which is the only thing some people listen to.

18. LOL - if you want specifics on any on my proposals, check out my web site!
Isn't that what a lot of us have been saying all along? If he stood up there and read out every line from his web site, people would be complaining that he's a boring policy wonk!
