Poll question: corporations and politics: true or false?
the two major parties are for all intents and purposes, corporate controlled.

3. I was curious

most everyone I know takes it as a 'given'.
Even my conservative Republican brother doesn't have to think twice about agreeing that it's true. Seems like everyday folks, regardless of party affiliation, acknowledge it, are tired of it, but are somewhat resigned to it.

6. And the Candidates
From both parties are about to be the elite of the elite - bonesbrothers.
It seems that Skull and Bones has a good shot of winning the presidency this year (and it will serve their members' business interests no matter who wins)...

11. Other: corporations are far too powerful and unaccountable.
Basically owing to the following 1886 Supreme Court Decision:

SANTA CLARA COUNTY v. SOUTHERN PAC. R. CO

and the number one thing we could do to make the world a better place would be to overturn that decision with a constitutional amendment.

but to label the parties as 'corporate controlled' is just a case of pushing people's emotional buttons.
