How much influence will the early voters (absentee ballots) have?
I did hear on TV this morning that 50% of CA had already voted (probably for Clintons). Can someone point me to the data. Thanks.)

1. Pollsters take this into consideration
As they did in Florida. They ask the question "Have you already, or do you plan to vote for this candidate?".

2. I haven't heard 50 percent...
...and I would seriously doubt that number.

I would imagine that the earlier the Dems voted, the more likely that Hillary
would have the advantage. That advantaged dissipates the closer you get to
the election.

I recall hearing that one million CA voters voted absentee. I'm not sure if
that's accurate, but that's what I remember.

8. Paul Begala said it this morning (half voted). He said Hillary has already "banked"
votes - before Obama's surge.

9. I guess it will have to be a heck of a big surge in CA to counteract this?

4. 22% in California. Probably about 5-8% overall.

That's a guesstimate based on the various figures I've seen for the states with mail-in voting.

6. Those ballots are probably the only thing keeping Hillary even close, at this point.
