"If they are riggin' 'em. . . maybe we can fix 'em"
This is a slightly edited reprisal of what I posted during the mid terms. The link to the older one is posted at the bottom of the thread.

Pssssssssst. . . .

This may seem irrational but here's something simple we all can do. . .

Every time you feel the intense sorrow, anger, or frustration over anticipating the possibility of a controversial outcome to the primaries due to the insecurity of those nefarious voting machines consider stiffening your spine, focusing your mind, and saying aloud or thinking really loudly and firmly. . .

"I'm creating with spirit that any malicious code implanted or hidden in the vote tally counting software be neutralized during these primaries, and any malfeasance that does occur be so blatant that it will be exposed and corrected immediately, so that the true intent of the majority of the people will be revealed and real representative leadership can be established."

Or perhaps, "I'm creating with spirit that these elections will be free and fair."

(feel free to modify as you feel is appropriate)

You see very simply, if they can rig 'em maybe we can fix 'em. . .with our hearts and minds.

If there is any facet of technology that could be influenced by consciousness it would more than likely be computers. Most of us have personally experienced inexplicable technical anomalies in the past.

Of course it sounds irrational but so are those in power. They have consistently refuted all rational tools and arguments, even when based on heaps of compelling evidence, and have done so with presumed impunity and no accountability for over 7 years if you haven't noticed.

They simply dismiss and marginalize our claims as being "reality based." TRANSLATION: They are using low level magic and mind control. They are masterful at "group think." We have not been so but perhaps we can focus at least for the next 48 hours or so. Theirs' is based on falsehood and fear whereas if we draw from truth and love and humor, can you imagine what may be possible. . ?

I came up with a ridiculous term for their "group think" back in early '01. It was "Oligarchical hypnogoguery" How they repeatedly repeat the same falsehood over and over and over is intended to be mind numbing and is effective to some extent but will not be for longer I swear.

Having approached the issue of election integrity from every imaginable traditional angle for nearly 6 years, and having written to every pundit, plutocrat, and politician of whom I could think, to virtually no absolutely no avail, this may be one method of recourse that won't take years of legislative and legal wrangling to remedy this most perilous situation.

It's worth a shot I figure.

Let us not allow the punditry to blame exit pollsters and allegedly disingenuous voters instead of scrutinizing the potential inaccuracies of the corporately owned machines and their counts any longer. Exit voting has worked for decades as a safeguard against electoral fraud, globally. Only after the introduction of the pathetic machines was it held into question.

Here are few visualizations for those who are more visually oriented as well. Visualize your candidate making a victory speech tomorrow night, another at the convention this summer, and making an inaugural address on the front steps of the Capital next January.

DISCLAIMER: This approach of focusing consciousness is intended to be supplemental to more traditional and linear safeguards on our election integrity and is not to encourage complacency in any way shape or form.

Have a nice "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" primary day.

Positive Vibrations
Prophet Bob Marley

Live if you want to live
(Rastaman vibration, yeah! Positive!)
That's what we got to give!
(I'n'I vibration yeah! Positive)
Got to have a good vibe!
(Iyaman Iration, yeah! Irie ites!)
Wo-wo-ooh!
(Positive vibration, yeah! Positive!)

If you get down and you quarrel everyday,
You're saying prayers to the devils, I say. Wo-oh-ooh!
Why not help one another on the way?
Make it much easier. (Just a little bit easier)

Say you just can't live that negative way,
If you know what I mean;
Make way for the positive day,
'Cause it's news (new day) - news and days -
New time (new time), and if it's a new feelin' (new feelin'), yeah! -
Said it's a new sign (new sign):
Oh, what a new day!

Pickin' up?
Are you pickin' up now?
Jah love - Jah love (protect us);
Jah love - Jah love (protect us);
Jah love - Jah love (protect us).

Rastaman vibration, yeah! (Positive!)
I'n'I vibration, yeah! (Positive!) Uh-huh-huh, a yeah!
Iyaman Iration, yeah! (Irie ites!) Wo-oo-oh!
*Positive vibration, yeah! (Positive!)

Pickin' up?
Are you pickin' up now?
Pickin' up?
Are you pickin' up now?
Pickin' up? (Jah love, Jah love -)
Are you pickin' (protect us!) up now?
Pickin' up? (Jah love, Jah love -)
Are you pickin' (protect us!) up now?
Pickin' up? (Jah love, Jah love -)
Are you pickin' (protect us!) up now?

I've fixed cars that were overheating using a similar technique. As for those who don't understand this-- As I tell them, hey, it doesn't cost anything, only takes a bit of time, so what's the harm? And if something does happen, that's a help.

15. Wow. Just wow. Here's a tip: never speak of Kerry/Edwards after Dems win the White House this year
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 08:42 PM by smalll
Because imagine if you did:

Stellanoir: ... and you know, in 2004, Bush and Rove ran a conspiracy to steal the election from Kerry! He didn't lose by 3%, he actually won, you know? Except Bush and his minions rigged it: they manipulated the high-tech voting machines!

Innocent Bystander: Well, you have a right to your opinion, but I'm not so sure I believe that. If the Republicans could steal the White House by machine in 2004, why didn't they do that in 2008?

Stellanoir: Oh, that's easily-answered: me and some other folks have been doing visualizations. We've been sending out brain waves to make sure "any malicious code implanted or hidden in the vote tally counting software" was stopped.

Innocent Bystander: :yoiks:

Have a few more conversations like that, well, here's another tip: when men in white coats show up, they won't be there to give you a Presidential Medal of Freedom in recognition of your diligent and indispensable efforts for the salvation of democracy.

Great term for it.
What it is is a combination of the "big lie" and "argumentum ad nauseum" methodologies used by propoganda artists.
Here is a link to wiki on propoganda.Everyone should read up on this stuff. It can be very usefull.

Another thought: We whinge about modern technology being so hackable that it could be our downfall, but ballot stuffing has gone on for decades, if not centuries. Perhaps these newfangled Internets tubes are actually beneficial, because now word travels mighty fast when there's any hanky panky. Perhaps we should be looking on the bright side of this?

39. comments and a k&r
my first home computer was an Atari 800XL, it had 64K ram, external floppy drive (the 5.25 size), plugged into an old TV set. You had to load DOS up to run the computer each time.

The first computer I used in a work setting had 256k RAM, but did have an internal hard drive and a built in floppy drive (also used the 5.25 floppies)

these first few computers were a bit "buggy", prone to doing strange things at times from locking up to displaying "klingon text". (before we get into the whole PC vs Apple argument, the early Apples were also prone to having their moments of "fits".)

A friend of mine speculated that it has something to do with the AIR elements being tricksters, and suggested putting something like a feather on the computer might mollify them. Serendipity struck, as I was leaving to go home, on the driveway next to my car were two bluejay feathers. I took them home and taped them to computer.

I still had an occasional problem, but they became less frequent and less of a hassle to correct.

The computer at work was also giving me problems - a couple of feathers helped there too.

A couple of years later, a "newer" computer was purchased. Whether it was software or hardware problem and conflict, this beast did not want to run right. The feathers didn't seem to help. After one visit from the computer tech guys - I joked that maybe we needed to shake a chicken at it, or in the extreme, perhaps a virgin needed to be thrown into the disk drive.

I was telling my friend about this, explaining the feathers didn't have much of an effect, jokingly asked him what he thought about shaking chickens at it. He smiled, got up from the couch, went to a shelf and handed me a rubber chicken on a key ring. He had found it laying on the ground the day before.

We had a good laugh, I attached the chicken key ring to my set of keys. The following Monday, I turned on the computer at work, it went through a few fits and went through a cycle of "locking up" and "unlocking itself". I tried rebooting a couple of times to no avail, waiting anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes before starting it up again. My boss sighed and groaned.

I turned off the computer then for the helluva it, I took out the rubber chicken key ring, shook it at the computer.....

I hit the power button... and it worked, started right up. My boss asked what did I do, how did I fix it? I held up the rubber chicken key ring "just shook this at the computer".. he laughed, said he was going out that afternoon to buy a a few for the other computers.

Yeah, there were still the occasional problems, but it became a ritual to shake a rubber chicken at the computer and reboot.

if your precient uses the electronic voting machines - take along a feather

or a rubber chicken
