Bill
What will his role be if Hillary is elected? Seriously. I have not heard any discussion about this other than jokes ("first laddy" hiyuk hiyuk etc.) People have said they are o.k. with Hillary as the candidate, but the idea of a mutated Hill/Bill presidency makes them shudder. Will he really step back and let her lead? Will she be a puppet front for his third term? Yeah, so the economy was good those 8 years, we know. However, this is different world, a different time. But do we REALLY want a third term for Bill Clinton? I have not seen any serious discussion about what it would be like.

1. I think Hillary is plenty tough enough to keep Bill in his place.
She'll send him round the world in some ambassadorial/peacemaker/PR capacity or give him some big project to head up.

I wouldn't worry about Hillary Clinton playing second fiddle to anyone.

4. I doubt her strength
I think it is a facade. How strong do you need to be to when your husband is carrying you? Yeah, she is a good debater, good at one liners, good at the put downs, but really, where is the "strength"? Strong women fight like a wolverine for the right cause, I don't see that in her. Her life has been too smooth and too easy.

2. I think he'll be giving her advice on the economy, etc.
whenever they find it necessary.

They have probably already discussed these issues to death, though, so essentially she'll "appear" to not ask for advice because she already has gotten most of the advice from Bill that she'd need.

6. He will be a great asset to her. He has been through the battles and can help her in many areas.
