2. You can vote for McCain then right? What does it matter to you?
Earned your vote. Right, did Bush earn your vote or was that a mistake to expect him to win?

31. Why would you piss away your vote on someone who is out?
Is that like a protest vote or feel good vote? Or a jerk me around the maypole I don;t care who my vote goes to vote?

You don't want to support the remaining DEMOCRATIC candidates?

What is the point?

36. I'll tell you what, since you need them to "earn" you vote
You've earned mine.

I can't be bothered debating with those who aren't committed to the Democratic Party, especially here on DU.

Convince someone else you are a Dem. I'm having trouble believing a word you write.

I don't understand what the point was, now that he is out.

But rock on, my friend.

22. If there is ANY chance you stopped the party from veering to the right
in its platform, the point was made and loudly.

Thank you for voting your conscience.

I plan on walking into my neighborhood polling station and doing the same thing! I am voting for John Edwards.

And I am driving around town from now and until then with a big ol John Edwards sign on my car too.

So take THAT!

10. If he can get 15%, he gets more delegates...
if he gets more delegates, he holds more power at the convention.

11. He's going to release his delegates
It's a two person race and he's not going to play broker. It's over. Sad but true.

I'm voting for Obama.

13. Because the delegates will want to be released
Either Barack or Hillary will be ahead and this won't become a floor fight and he won't become a broker.

He's not getting 15% anywhere.

He hasn't entirely quit, he's only "suspended campaigning". That means he can still get delegates.

28. What part of "suspended campaign" do YOU not understand?
He is STILL on the ballot, DID NOT release his delegates, and DID NOT endorse another candidate.

If he's on the ballot, you can still VOTE for him. And if somebody wants to, the worse thing that happens is that the delegate you elect will eventually go for whoever Edwards eventually endorses.

I vote absentee, and was going to wait until Friday to complete it.

Edwards has dropped out of the race - I have felt sad all day, but will move on to another candidate.:-(

He's on the ballot, and a vote for John Edwards is the only way to vote for anti-corporatism.
