Any Democrat will beat a Republican

Also, no one knows how many Democrats decided not to vote because they understood the rules that were in place until Hillary's last minute Calvinball play. Hillary supporters certainly got word from her campaign to go vote.

Hillary's campaign and is desperately trying to spin a silver lining after a crushing defeat in SC.

Edited: Oops left out McCain.

1. Why is McCain left out from the Republican side?

2. Because THAT would show the opposite of what the poster opines

Fact is, Florida is going to be tough, very tough.

We would be better to focus more on Ohio and Michigan, and a few western states (New Mexico) for the GE.

I don't think either Hillary or Obama can win Florida. Not that they shouldn't try.

6. No it was an error, and it doesn't change that a Democrat will win.
A lot of Democratic voters didn't turn out.

8. You were trotting out the numbers from the Florida primary
and while I agree, many Democrats didn't vote because they believe that they would not have a say at the convention, it is also true that there were some other issues on the ballot.

The Repukes had more voters vote than the Democrats. And by a large margin.

We will have to do something to energize the Florida Democrats to really GOTV for the GE to win.

That's why I said Florida is going to be tough. Very tough.

3. polls say otherwise - but Obama folks say he will change polls by personal presence in state
campaigning.

the addition of primary voters doesn't really say much other than more Democrats were interested in the primary (FL has a voting population a great deal larger than the size of the primary vote)

2/5 will be interesting

Obama should arrive at the convention (if it isn't conceded yet) with 1800 to 2300 votes - perhaps a win - perhaps a loss - but too large to ignore. He at a minimum will be offered the VP slot.

10. "Voted against Clinton.......827,182"
Applying the same logic to Obama would mean over 1,100,000 voted against him.

Which is why the logic is nonsensical.

12. Here's a fact:
Hillary is bragging that her numbers are legit. Yet 827,182 Democrats voted against her.

As for Obama and Edwards here is the unknown:

No one knows how many Democrats decided not to vote because they understood the rules that were in place until Hillary's last minute Calvinball play. Hillary supporters certainly got word from her campaign to go vote.
