A pro-Hillary robo-call in Florida

Hillary Clinton isn't campaigning in Florida, but one of her congressional allies has joined the unions supporting her in doing a bit of work on her behalf.

Rep. Corrine Brown placed a round of recorded calls to her Jacksonville constituents yesterday, urging them to vote against Amendment One, which would cap property taxes and is opposed by unions and many Democrats.

Then, according to Brown aide Ronnie Simmons, the call continued:

"For Corrine's quick pick, I'm supporting Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president."

(The "quick pick" is reference to the palm cards Brown typically distributes on election day, he said.)

Simmons said Brown paid for the call out of her own campaign committee, and that Clinton wasn't involved.

"We did it on our own," he said. "It wasn't even vetted."

An Obama supporter in the district who got the call, and whose son emailed Politico about it, was a bit taken aback.

"I thought they should not be campaigning here," said Rene Avery, 52, a marketing manager in Jacksonville who got the call at home yesterday afternoon.

1. I guess they knew the Obama momentum was so strong they felt
they needed to campaign in FL even though all candidates pledged not to.

4. Sorry but this has no teeth in MSM
Because 3rd party campaigning is legal just like Barack running ads in florida.

3. So 3rd party grassroots campaigning is the worst.
But direct paid for campaigning by the candidate via TV ads that reach 6 to 7 M Fl voters is fine.

Hypocrisy thy name is Obama.
