No, this isn't a post from a troll. It's me, Redstone, who will vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is, even if it's a Martian.

What makes me laugh is some of the extraordinarily ignorant names that are getting thrown at people in this forum.

"Popebama?" "Hillbots?" Christ, you'd think Obama and Ms Clinton were Republicans the way they and / or their supporters get bitched at or about around here.

I'm not about to advocate a "nicey-nicey" debate about the candidates; I like a good argument as much as the next guy.

But "Popebama," "Hillbot," and the like is just childish. And what're you going to accomplish by using that type of label, except to make the supporters of Obama or Clinton more tenacious in their support?

See? It's not only childish, it doesn't help your candidate. So what's the point of doing it?

This place has gone full-blown wall-chewing cat-kicking insane.

And it's being permitted. People who do NOTHING but call names do so with impunity, because there's no sanction. People who never once posted anything positive about a Democrat rack up thousands of posts. People who think political discussion revolves around blatant personal and group attacks get, instead of a warning, a cheering section.

This site does far more harm to Democrats than it does good, and nobody in charge seems to care.
