A Hypothetical Question For Lurking Freepers...
Which person is the moral superior to the other?

Person A got six deferments during the Viet Nam War while Person B volunteered for service, got three Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, and saved the life of a crew member....

Guess who Person A and Person B is...

Hint- Person A talks out the side of his mouth, looks like he never me a hamburger he didn't like , and has the apperance of a fat tub of goo....

4. So, you voted for George Bush Sr. in 1992?
If you have to choose between a candidate who served heroically in war and one who actively avoided military service, and you think the veteran's service automatically makes him "morally superior," I assume you voted for Bush in 1992. Is that so?

Arguing that Kerry is more fit for the Presidency because he's a war hero is the same tired argument that the nation rejected, thankfully, when we had the opportunity to choose between an out-of-touch patrician and a visionary genius. Seee the results between 1993 and 2001.

6. Au Contraire
Clinton avoided Nam...

If Clinton gamed the system to avoid a "good war" like WW2 I think I could find his charater lacking...

11. So, ducking an unpopular war is okay, but ducking a popular one
...is not? I think Clinton, Bush and Cheney are all in the same boat. On this subject, I don't have any respect for any of them.
