Hey Edwards supporters - If you want to promote tomorrow's fundraiser for vets, here's some info

I posted this bulletin on my myspace page (though it could be posted on anyone's blog if you have one somewhere...

Hi all...there's a new grassroots effort to raise $200,000 for John Edwards tomorrow, January 30th, the night before the next debate.

John has recently been giving voice to the moral outrage that is 200,000 of our own veterans who are currently homeless - men and women who have served our country nobly and honorably and yet have been left literally out in the cold by our government. Even worse is the tidbit that more than twice that number of our veterans experience homelessness during at least some portion of the year...

This IS a moral outrage and I am glad to see that John Edwards has been speaking up about it every chance he gets, including during his "whistle stops", during the debates, and even when he appeared on Letterman. As a matter of fact, John's been so vocal about this travesty that even Bill O'Reilly himself has been calling John out; it seems BillO doesn't believe there are homeless veterans.

So let's all join in to help give John Edwards a continuing voice in this election so he can keep giving voice to the voiceless like those 200,000 Homeless Veterans that he speaks so passionately about.

I think this one has a much greater chance of succeeding than the last one, it's a much more doable number than $7 million was...and think how great it will be if John can say at the debate "MY supporters raised $200,000 in one day yesterday in honor of the 200,000 homeless vets in America"

It's last minute like the last one, that is the only flaw, so lets start spreading the word!! :bounce:
