We ran into two friends today we thought would be voting Hillary...but they have voted for Obama.

Hillary according to the polls has a huge lead. But I think Obama will have a good showing. I know college campuses are more interested in him than the media is letting you know.

4. One for Edwards and one for Hillary among my family

My dad shared my preference, Edwards. But on Friday I helped my mom fill out her absentee ballot from her hospital bed and she chose Hillary.

I've been in Miami for 6 weeks from Nevada, with my mom recovering from a diabetic coma. Very slow, but positive signs the past few days.

In terms of mailings, the measure regarding slots at the race track, dog track and jai-alai fronton swamped the candidate-based material, at least 10/1. That's a very heated debate with big money invested both ways. It was defeated in 2005. My parents voted against it.
