The Dem party had the opportunity to submit a bill in Michigan to require that their names remain on the ballot. Didn't do it. The candidates also had the option of submitting the necessary paperwork to become write in candidates. Didn't do that either.

Were you aware that it was the Republican in the Michigan legislature who submitted the bill to change the primary date?

Blaming one candidate or even one party for this fiasco is about as ignorant as the freepers blaming the Democrats for 911.

Had they left their names on the ballot they would have been destroyed. Then they acted like there was an "anti-Hillary" vote with the uncommitted. In fact, what we really had was a pro-Obama and Edwards vote. And a pro-Hillary vote that was more then Edwards and Obama got together.

Democratic turnout was low because voters knew their votes didn't count in the big election. Many Edwards and Obama voters could have voted for Clinton because they didn't care or have Hilllary as a number two choice.

We live in this forsaken state and if their names would have been on the ballot, she would have come in a distant and I do mean DISTANT 3rd. Most of the folks I talk to in this state (and it's quite a few as I travel a lot with my job) do not like her one iota.

There are a lot of ticked off people here right now, and if she pulls a fast one to get our delegates after we all had to vote uncommitted, she can go to hell in a handbasket - let me re phrase that is language she would understand, she can go to China on a slow boat....one way.

The primary was a travesty. I haven't lived in MI but for 10 years (and counting the days until I can leave!) and this state is so messed up with voting.

To vote, you have to declare your party. Now that in itself would be fine if I could just grab a ballot, go to my little closet and 'x' in who I want....but NO, not here in the fine state of Shitigan....you have to ASK the pollworker for what ballot you want. Since when is it their damn business what party I am????? Secret ballot my fat arse.

Uncommitted to Edwards......and again, if he and Obama would have been on the ballot, HRC would have been toast and her little political machine knew it and 'adjusted' the rules.

A politcal machine with lots to lose can be an ugly animal... and her machine has many tenacles.
