18. Dennis Hopper became a big Bush supporter after 9/11
*take deeeeep breath from portable gas mask*

The story went that back in '04 he had bought up a bunch of hotel rooms and was planning on going the NYC convention and making himself available, as a face for Bush and Republicans, to whomever wanted to talk to him. Very late-like a day or two before the convention- Hopper was formally disinvited or basically told not to show up.

A real slap in the face but the RNC clearly didn't want their police escorted delegates to have to encounter a former member of the counterculture.

5. Hey, Mitt...pssst...over here...I have a secret to tell you!
Do you know why we need an economic turnaround?

Do you know why Washington is broken?

I can tell you the answer to both questions.

It's...

because...

of...

YOUR PARTY!

The Republican Party is why America needs an Economic Turnaround, and it's also the party that BROKE Washington!

So what makes you think anyone wants more of the same?

Do us all a favor and go fix the rust on one of your old Ramblers, dude. :eyes:
