at this point.

Not sure how that works out. They didn't say exact totals of the delegates.

4. Many precints are at 100% reporting.
Not much is going to change with the others. Obama or Clinton are clear winners in what is left.

According to CNN:
Clinton 13
Obama 12

That is the 25 up for grabs today.

8. so does that mean Edwards delegates don't count?
like in our precinct it went like this:

Obama - 5
Clinton - 2
Edwards - 1

But those above get to go to the State convention? Right?

so what do they do? total each precinct to add up statewide? to go to the national?

I am sorry, I don't understand this?

12. 25 delegates were in play today, statewide.
Of those 13 went to Clinton, 12 to Obama, and 0 to Edwards.

I don't know how those delegates are divided across the state, but I believe that a 15% finish is required to earn one.

My understanding is unless Edwards has some superdelegates from Nevada, he won't receive any delegates from that state.

16. Those would be the "superdelegates".
Those like governors, state reps, senators, etc. They are non-pledged, meaning they can change, and it is up to them.

I don't watch those as closely, but if some superdelegates have made it public that they are for Edwards, they will count at the Convention, given Edwards stays in.

11. This is how Nevada caucus works: Todays caucus
Jan. 19, party caucuses met in each precinct to choose delegates to county conventions. The delegates selected are not bound to any candidate. At the county conventions on Feb. 23, delegates to the state convention are chosen. They are not bound to any candidate. The state convention is April 18-20, during which delegates choose 25 of the 33 delegates to the national convention. Sixteen of the 25 delegates are allocated proportionally to presidential candidates based on the support for the candidates in each of the state’s three Congressional districts. Nine delegates are allocated to candidates based on the support among all of the delegates attending the convention. The remaining eight unpledged delegates are chosen from party leaders.

15. so those delegates from the state level go to the national convention
and then a vote is done again?

What was the point of saying someone won Nevada today?

Sorry for the thick skull.

Thanks for your help.
