Poll question: What Cost Obama NV?
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 04:30 PM by JCMach1
Keeping in mind close to 71% of the voters were 45 or older in the Democratic primary... or was it something else?

6. The fact that she was 30 points ahead for a year.....
and had the entire establishment of nevada's government supporting her.

In other words, OBama lost to the Clinton Political Machine.

Hillary's is a woman running on her husband's record, and that part is sad.

10. Obama came from way behind in the polls in Nevada. This is a very good showing.
Still this caucus is a fraud. John Edwards at 5%. This caucus demeans democracy.

14. How will Obama reach out to Hispanics now?
It is difficult to win in the West without that part of the equation... or Florida for that matter...

17. He never really had it.
NV was supposed to be a cake walk for Clinton and Obama turned it into a contest. If Clinton wins SC, that will mean something "cost Obama" something, but the candidate expected to win, won and the one expected to lose, lost.

18. Hillary won big with hispanics and us old farts and
women. Where I live Hispanics are the majority and older voters, especially women are much more likely to vote. Hill will definitely take New Mexico.

20. Hillary was the total favorite in NV with polls giving her up to 9 or 10 % and even a lot more
last more. She had the Reid machine working for her. So, her victory was expected. If anything, Obama did BETTER THAN expected.
