Do you think Dean got involved?
Hillary and Barack called off the fight at the same time. I don't think there's any coincidence. So does anyone think Dean got involved?

8. I'm not sure Dr. Dean got involved either......but I'm glad
Randi Rhodes calmly explained the detrimental effects of having the race/gender debate during the primaries instead of during the GE where it belongs.

I know that a lot of her listeners really (me included) needed to hear how the repukes were enjoying the way we were beating each other up and making fools of ourselves!

5. actually, it's not at all unlikely
he hinted at it the other day when he said he had a plan if things got too rancorous. He probably did get involved.

4. Common Sense
I would hope Hillary had the common sense to back off without an intervention.

6. I'm gonna say no
I wish he did, because I know he has the gumption to do so, but I don't believe he did. I think Obama tried to defuse this because it benefits neither of them, and Hillary quickly followed suit.

7. I wouldn't be surprised
But I don't know. It makes sense, though, after what he said about the rancor.

Can you picture Dean? "I'm gonna lock you into a room and I won't let you out until one or both of you is a) dead; b) gives up."

10. No.
My guess - Bill called Vernon Jordan and perhaps members of the Black Caucus to try and figure out a way to save the Democratic Party from a major split.
