It's always good to refocus on what's important and disregard what is pure distraction.

Edit~ REC'D~

3. Closed for today...thank the
Universe! We're in a small town and everyone in the surrounding communities love our co-op too, but we don't have to be open on Sundays cause we've no competition and it all started in 1975 by people who have other lives in addition to be dedicated to a healhy life.

How's the cafe?

5. Closed as well...
We're actually moving on. We've been doing this for nine years and I'm getting tired of it.

My wife just started a new business which is already making more money than the cafe. The cafe has been on the market for a month and a buyer is sounding interested.

I'm hoping to set it down and start working on the house and take some classes at the community college.

What's New York like? I've never been there.

10. Aha! I know all about moving on when
the time is right. New York is okay and I've learned a lot here for the last 9 years but in 3 more years I'm moving backing to Kauai where my heart really is. :) Just a coincidence that Obama was born there:P My son has been there since 1985 and I lived there from 1992 until 1998 when I moved to New York without ever having lived here..I was most lucky to land where this co-op is because that's pretty much my life's work.

My daughter and her family are in Portland, O as I've probably said and they love it!

Good Luck to you and your wife in whatever you do!~

4. I think that we need to temper the emotion...
And make sure we are refuting these claims soundly and rationally.

And to remember that many of these claims/arguements are simply unworthy of a response.

8. Absolutely.
But I'm trying not to fall into the pit of fighting tooth-and-nail for my candidate. I think that I do him a better sevice when I keep my cool.

Seriously, some of these statements that people from *other* campaigns are saying really are unworthy of response. They are, in a word, "ludicrous'.

6. DO NOT REPLY TO OR INITIATE NEGATIVE THREADS
I can't emphasize this enough. Everytime you do, it chips away at Obama's main strength.

Let them flame away. The whole point of their posts is to create a negative environment. Don't let it continue.

12. AVOID THREADS LABELLED "OBAMA NATION" "KIDDY ARMY" and the like
Avoid posting and responding to threads and posts that refer to racism, sexism, or lying.

Stay positive and upbeat. Don't take the bait.

14. I have been except this
one thread last night when it was on the inside about "the kids" and I told him he was jealousy calling us "kids" and asked if he were an ancient relic from the last century..

They never learned what they should have in the sandbox.
