Here is my problem
Ok first off I am an Edwards supporter, and will stick by him till he drops out, or wins, and I really want him to win. The problem I have is with all the "racist" attacks being put out by the Obama supporters. Now on the other hand, I hate the "sexist" comments from some of the Clinton camp also.

So here is my problem. If Edwards does back out, then who do I support? Well first off which ever candidate that is, they will have to really show me they will stand up for the people of this country, and not back corporate america. That tends to side with Obama, if he comes up with a real plan on how he will do that. I want facts, not more words of "change".

On the other hand, I want someone who can bring this countries standing in the world back to that of a country that wants peace, not more war. We have to mend relations with other countries, and that won't be easy. On this issue I think that if Hillary won, she would use Bill to do this, and I really think he would be great at that job. I also think that his experience would be of great value to this country, even though I have problems with NAFTA, and a few other things that happened because of him.

I think that the supporters of Obama need to really "mellow" out. Not just here, but all over the internet. They are "not" helping him by being so rude, calling those who disagree "racist", or coming up with some plot that the Clinton's stole the vote in NH by hacking the voting machines. Come on people we are democrats, not republicans!

No matter what I think Edwards has done more good for this party than any of the other two candidates. He has helped bring issue to the front that would have never been addressed if not for him. If Clinton or Obama want his supporters "IF" he drops out, and I hope he doesn't, they better come up with some "real" plans, substance, and supporters need to stop putting labels on those who bring up problems, or disagree with the the agenda, or stand by their candidates.

Instead of attacking everyone else, put up some "facts" on how your candidate will help this country, and tackle the issues that need to be changed. Lobbyists, corporations running this country, jobs, education, college for our children, immigration, monopolies in the MSM, and a long list of other things that we all know need to be changed.

Why can't we have threads that bring up one of the big issues, and let the supporters of each candidate show how their candidate will make the changes to help the people of this country? Let's work to make all the candidates tell us who they will make all the changes they keep talking about.

Come on people, we need to take the Whitehouse back, and we need to unite the country, and take it back from corporate america. We can't do that if all we do is fight and trash the people we have running for the nomination. Remember, it's the republicans who are the enemy, not our candidates.

We can work together to make sure that whoever gets the nomination will work for the people. We can make them understand that we want "action", and we will hold them to their promises. Don't let anyone get a free ride. Demand answers, and plans, make sure that we get the changes this country needs.

Share their plans here on DU with everyone here, so we can all make a choice to vote for the person who will stand up for the people for a change, and not corporate america. We may not like the "other" canidates, but we do have a good bunch of people running, and we need to pick one of them to take on the republicans and win.

from what I see here.

I wish we could pick our candidates on the issues rather than personalities.

Also...I wish the damn media would stop telling us who we want....

3. Yes I agree about the media
We can't let them tell us who to vote for. I also see the same thing you do, it seems to be so much easier to tear down than to build up, and that's really sad. I don't think I will be here much longer. I just don't understand all of the anger and hate towards those running. Now I don't have a problem with voicing ones concerns, or disagreements, but some people here are down right mean, rude, and cruel, and I admit it has rubbed of on me a times, and I don't want to be that way.

All I can say is I hope that we get the right person as our nominee, because we really need to change what Bush has done to this country!
