1. I'm seeing that too. Never thought I would.
McLame-Huckster would be a competive GE ticket but would bring about exploding heads galore in FreeperVille. They hate those two.

13. Exactly... Huckabee would help hold most of the Southern States
McCain is still quite popular in the West. The battleground would be OH, PA, VA, MO and perhaps one or two other states...

Even worse scenario if there is a strong 3rd party run mushing up the middle...

3. How about they put Fred in the
race to make McCain look vibrant. Frankly I'm looking for someone a bit younger than someone closing in on 80 years old. That being said, I'd never vote for either one. MCain's age factor and Huck's religious leanings. Oh and they're repukes.

6. Yes. Formidable.
Almost compels a Democratic vice-presidential nominee with gravitas and some voting bloc pull of his own (such as Biden or Dodd or Richardson).

As much as I would like to see any combination of Edwards and Obama, I don't think there's enough -- ah, "experience" -- there to be effective with independents.

Sidebar: Does anyone see any possibility of Obama-Clinton in any scenario? Because I sure don't.

8. McCain is what? 72?

Few people could be a much scarier president than McCain... and Huckster is one of those.

9. Mmm... I think McCain will in in NH, but will not win the nomination.
McCain is too old. It'll be Huckabee for president and someone else for VP.

11. Two guys many Republicans hate--it means low turnout and a landslide
for us. If Obama's the nominee, no contest.
