8. Yes, and had he still been in the senate
my guess is that he would have funded it again. Why anyone thinks Edwards would have voted differently is beyond me - he DOES have a record in the senate. I understand that he regrets many of his votes now, but I don't believe for a minute that he wouldn't have voted the same way as Obama, had he been in a position to vote. Talk is cheap.

24. No, I don't, and neither do you.
But an educated guess, judging by his time in the senate and his voting record, gives one an idea. You're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine, but judging by the way he voted in the senate when he was in it, it stands to reason he'd vote as he always did.

I like Edwards, he's my 2nd choice, but he did leave a record in the senate. Ignore it if you want, but it's there.

Try anger management maybe?

15. I guess we have to keep repeating ourselves over and over again...
many of you don't seem to get it.

Obama was against the war, couldn't vote for or against the IWR because he wasn't in the senate at the time, and in any case, as he has done with controversial topics has hedged with a PRESENT vote instead of yea or nay.

17. How was he against the war? Since he could not vote for or against...
assuming he would have bothered to take the time to vote (something he does frequently) and not voted "present" as he is often wont to do. "Hedging" is a cowards way out of a situation. If he is truly opposed to something or is in favor of something he should take a stand. That alone disqualifies him in my eyes for the Presidency.

By the way, it's not that we "don't seem to get it"...I see through him and to me, Obama is as vapid as the current resident in the White House.

18. Two issues that made me support Obama over Edwards...
...besides many others...

Edwards' co-sponsorship and hawkish record with the Iraq War Resolution that started the war

Edwards' voting for the Vietnam and China free trade bills that sucker punched many industries in the US

Oddly, these are the two main issues that Edwards complains about most now in his rhetoric....even though he voted for both.
