2. Obama has a bunch of former Clinton advisors on staff.
Is that better?

The political world is a limited one. Our candidates basically take whatever they can get.

14. There's really no difference.
Obama is running as a candidate for change, and he has a bunch of former Clinton advisors on staff.

Isn't that the same thing?

Candidates get help wherever they can find it.

15. she would be better off talking about bringing back the clintons of the 90's if she is going to...
have Madeleine Albright behind you.

16. If that's your logic, Obama should do the same, right?
Since he has a bunch of Clinton staffers, he should run on the "Let's go back to the Clinton era" platform, right?

23. no...
I understand having people on your staff from previous administrations, i am just saying it is ironic to have them behind you as you talk about having CHANGE just after you got your butt kicked on that issue. I am not saying Clinton shouldn't have her support, i expect that she would have it, and i do not think it is a bad thing. But imagery is big.

...experience at that level. There aren't a huge number of ex-SoS's running around to choose from.

3. I saw that.. and it was so disturbingly reserved and subdued...
Obama and Edwards speeches and people were electric.. The speech was nice.. but again delivered like a nun teaching sex-ed at catholic school.

25. Edwards is my first choice.
You are right about him. I think that Obama has a lot of sizzle, but not a lot of steak. As another older poster in another thread wrote, "Where's the beef?"

Biden was my second, and he's out.
