Take this test to see how you agree with your candidate. You may be surprised at the outcome. Click on the link below to take the test.

Thinking about next year's election .. already made up your mind? still deciding? try this fascinating web site! Takes about 1-2 minutes. This will compare your answers with ALL candidates.

My top 3 results were...

Dennis Kucinich 49
Mike Gravel 44
Chris Dodd 42

I wasn't surprised but I think I will vote for Edwards if my other choices don't make it through the primary.

1. I always agree with Kucinich, but no way will I vote for him*
It's one thing to be for universal health care and another to realize it is not going to happen in the next few years. I'm against the death penalty too, but that will take time as well.
I'm realistic about Iraq too.

It's a matter of remembering that this is politics, not some wishing game.

* Also, I just don't like him. Something about his persona is creepy.

11. The only thing I find a little weird is his wife, as good looking as she is...
when I see the two of them it just doesn't seem right. But them I am making a judgment by the appearance of things.

18. That certainly isn't a thing to base a vote on!
Like not voting for someone who would be good for the country because you think his nose is too big.

That's the kind of thing that got us into this crap we're in.

23. I wouldn't vote for someone on an appearance basis...
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 10:19 PM by L0oniX
I was just saying they look weird as a couple. I would vote for DK but I think others wouldn't because of how the couple look.

24. And the others who wouldn't are so superficial I question why they are even voting.
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 10:26 PM by bobbolink
BTW, I'm not a Kucitizen anymore, so that is a clear statement of my standing on superficiality.

2. Dodd is great, Edwards has most progressive stand after DK , but DK then going O because
Hillary and Edwards were caught discussing leaving him out of the debates seems so childish -

I like O's speaking ability and can live with his policies - but Hillary is almost as far left as Edwards, and I am not sure I want someone as conservative as O, with O's desire to bring rich and corporate and GOP tax cutters for the rich and corporate to the table for each policy decision (the last thing refers to O's claiming bipartisan ability last spring which when investigated turned out to be passing more tax cuts for the rich and corporate in bills that made very small funding gains for things the left wants).

I also like Biden and Richardson, so I guess I am lucky to be in a Feb 5 state so the decision will have been made for me before I votes via results in earlier states.

10. You know...I just can't trust anyone who feeds at the corporate trough...
because they are so very rich compared to me. I can't trust anyone who is rich to have my better interests in mind when making decisions. It's really quite deplorable. I was for DK but it seems he won't be making it through the primary. So that leaves me with Edwards and I swore I wouldn't ever vote for a lawyer again. O well.

14. Until we get federal financing ONLY for elections - meaning the USSC drops money=free speech crap -
we will have to ignore the smell of the $2300 individual contributions (companies can't contribute) and just keep our eye on the actual actions of those we elect.

6. Obama, Hillary, Dodd, Biden
I knew I agreed with Obama on most issues.. Hillary doesn't surprise me, but I didn't know Dodd & Biden would be so high.

I'll stick with my vote.. glad to know my top two are the top two polling right now.

16. Don't think so - most folks not on DU know how liberal/progressive her last 40 years have
been - the game is to appear center enough to get elected in the general.

17. They picked Kooch for me
Dennis Kucinich
Score: 54
Agree
Iraq
Immigration
Taxes
Stem-Cell Research
Health Care
Abortion
Social Security
Line-Item Veto
Marriage
Death Penalty
Environment
Education

Disagree
Energy
Gun Control

I don't think me and Kooch are that different on energy but they made the mistake of putting ethanol in the question and I'll never be for ethanol because depleting our farm land so idiots can fill their hummers while half the world goes hungry is just plain evil.

19. About what I expected: Obama, Dodd, Clinton are all very close
I suppose I didn't know Dodd would be that high. But 2 points separate Clinton and Obama and they are my top 2 choices with scores of 51 and 53.
