3. should be Kucinich
the only one walking his talk
the only one with plans in bill form in Congress
the only one who has never voted for Iraq funding
the only one who voted against the Patriot Act-and who we know actually read it!

9. I will and a lot of DUers will but we are scarcely representative of the electorate.
Unfortunately.

14. Only because they have resigned themselves to the same talking points.
The American people want universal health care. They want the Iraq occupation ended, and they want nothing to do with invading Iran. Right down the line, Dennis Kucinich represents TRUE American values. It's just a matter of convincing people to ignore the media bullshit and vote their own interests this time.

It's obviously not going to be easy, but it's certainly worth it.

15. I can't be responsible for their resignation...I just point it out.
More of that damn reality-based bias, I guess.

24. But haven't you seen polls
that show a majority of Americans want us out of Iraq and want single payer health insurance? These are Dennis's points. When you talk to folks about this and point it out, you bring them around to the Kucinich camp. At least that's what has happened with me.

23. This reminds me of folks who said
that this fellow from Illinois couldn't be elected President-he'd only been a Congressman for one term, had not held any other national elective office, was not as well known as people like Salmon B. Chase and William Seward. Funny how he wound up with the nomination.

11. The media is going to attempt to destroy ANY candidate.
But what are they actually going to find on Kucinich?

He saw a UFO? Big deal, so did Saint Ronald Reagan the Great Bullshitter.

4. Edwards of course

In 2004 I was an Edwards supporter. Somehow Kerry won the nomination because of his perceived electability. So I worked my butt off for Kerry... spending every weekend throughout the summer and up to election day phone-banking and working the computers at the campaign office. ::: sigh :::

It will feel so good to be able to work that hard for the person I support *and* who has a high electability rating. That would be John Edwards!

21. Help me here. It's Edwards but
I am weak in the knees from Joe Biden's siren song, his foreign policy know-how, oh how I long for a candidate with foreign policy know-how, when I am so afraid with nightmares about what can happen in the world...

OK, I am a big baby. I admit it. Sorry, but I just am. I know I can't "do" foreign policy; some other dude has to do it for me. I want a strong leader in the world...
