1. Look what the have to say about Hillary on their home page

About Hillary

Like many Democrats, we believe that Hillary Clinton has repeatedly given in too easily to pressure - and too often decides her policies not on the basis of what's right, but on the basis of what polls and focus groups tell her. As history shows, that's a dangerous road for Democrats and for the country. We believe there are other candidates who would be stronger leaders and have a much better chance of winning in 2008.

Our Plan

We're planning on running hard-hitting, creative ads in key primary states highlighting why Senator Clinton should not be the first choice of voters who want to end the war in Iraq, fight global warming, win universal health care - or beat the Republicans. As an independent PAC, we can run the kinds of hard-hitting but cost-effective ads that have turned countless elections. Unlike the corporate and special interest PACs that usually dominate political advertising, Democratic Courage PAC is a grassroots, citizen-based organization fighting for a more progressive America.

10. The Hillary Bashers are 10 to 1 on this site
since Obama is the lightest of light weights doesn't know anything about anything the Obama idolers have to bash to make up for it....they never say anything constructive all they do is twist and spin any and everything about HIllary...trying to take the heat off someone who runs and hides when it comes to making a "real" vote on something.

And of course he wants to bomb Iran...gee none of the Democratic Senators who voted so far have wanted to bomb Iran, that's a republican "thang". But then since Oprah wants to support him, along with all her other republican choices, I guess we know what he really is, a republican.

3. What makes them "a liberal group"?
Because he says so? As far as I can tell, it's just one guy, Glenn Hurowitz, who claims to be an Edwards supporter.
Of course, he hasn't made anything positive about Edwards. He's just released attack ads against his opponents.
He spent more on making the Hillary attack ad than he did on airing it.
And on his site, he says Nancy Pelosi is a hero and calls Bernie Sanders a "Democrat".

He's acting on his own and I doubt he's even an Edwards supporter (this looks designed to hurt Edwards), but hopefully the Edwards campaign can distance themselves from him before the media attaches them together.

11. Glenn Hurowitz endorsed Edwards months ago
The Edwards campaign released his name on a list of endorsers. When that site first went up it had Edwards' picture on the front page and a link to Edwards' own site. The picture's gone and the link is gone, but don't think this is anything but an Edwards under the radar deal even without official sanction. A different 527 also doing negative ads has an Edwards backer on its advisory board. This has all been set up, not come out of nowhere. Sure, Edwards can "distance" himself with plausible deniability, I imagine, but the early connections won't escape the media anyway. It just won't matter. It will make the books written about the primaries in years to come, that's about all.

7. Very accurate information. So of course it'll be called an "attack"
That's par for the course.

12. I am glad you like their work, MP
In October, when Obama wasn't doing as well as now, Hillary was their main target.

A newly formed political action committee is aiming to stop Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary by calling into question her progressive credentials.

"We think there are other Democratic presidential candidates who are both more progressive and have a better chance of beating the Republicans than she does," said the president of Democratic Courage, Glenn Hurowitz.

He declined to tip his hand on the group's case against Clinton, but said the PAC plans a paid media campaign in the early primary states to make its position clear.

"We’ll definitely have sufficient resources to make a significant media buy," he said, adding that their campaign against Clinton would be "edgy" enough to get attention. "We don’t need to raise an immense amount of money to make a big difference."

Hurowitz, 29, is a Washington-based writer and activist. (He has written freelance Ideas articles for Politico, including this piece criticizing Clinton's and Obama's energy plans.) The group's two other officers are Sam Goldman and David Lipowicz, both of whom have worked for liberal and environmental groups in Washington.

Hurowitz and Goldman have both contributed to the campaign of former North Carolina Senator John Edwards, but Hurowitz said their effort is independent of any campaign.

"We have no plans right now to back any particular candidate," Hurowitz said.

No plans to back any particular candidate. Yet initially the site (I saw it and probably you did, too, posted here in GDP) had a big old John Edwards picture at the top and the only campaign link was to Edwards 08. They've since cleaned that up and both picture and link are gone.

This is from a press release from the Edwards campaign also in October.

Edwards has already earned the endorsement of several influential environmental leaders, including:

National Environmentalists for Edwards Leaders
Scott Rutledge, Nevada Conservation Leader
Lana Pollack, National LCV Board Member*
Lisa Guthrie, National LCV Board Member, Executive Director of VA LCV*
Carrie Clark, National LCV Board Member, Executive Director of NC Conservation Council*
Brownie Newman, Political Director NC Conservation Council*
Nina Szolsberg, President of NC Conservation Council*
Carol Piszczek-Sheffield, Board Member AZ Sierra Club Chapter*

Joseph Minott, Executive Director of PA Clean Air Council*

Too bad we can't know who is paying for it until after the early primaries are over.

13. The Hillary ad only had a $2,500 ad buy.
It was probably done for publicity purposes. It'll be interesting to see if the Obama ad has a similar size ad buy or is much larger.
