McCain is NOT doing Hillary's dirty work
Edited on Wed Dec-19-07 06:13 PM by hnmnf
I dont often come to the defense of Hillary Clinton, but sometimes I see an opinion like this that I think is just stupid.

They all take simple views,” McCain said of the Democratic contenders. “Sen. Obama and the others wanted to threaten (Pakistani leader Pervez) Musharraf with cutting off aid. We didn’t want threaten to cut off aid; we wanted to work with him and get him to make the progress that he is making.”

He added, “That’s the difference between (having) experience and judgment — and not having it.”

This is a perfectly legit criticism. McCain is attacking what Obama's policy beliefs are. That is fair. And second, just because somebody attacks Obama, doesnt mean they are doing Hillary's dirty work. That is just absurd. I can vouch that most us Obama supporters are sane and realize this.

1. If I were supporting Obama, I would see the slam as a good thing...
...in that McCain sees Obama as the possible Dem nominee...you ignore the ones who don't stand a chance.

2. it would be a perfectly legitimate criticism, except for the timing of it
I guess you think he did not consider the effect his comments would have on the Dem Primaries. He just shot from the hip with no calculation.

Personally, I think that opinion would be naive.

Why do you feel that you have to defend Hillary?
What I stated wasn't an attack, it was an observation of McCain's actions and how they serve to aid the Clinton campaign.
