Congratulations, Hillary -- you beat out McCain's "Never Surrender" express for the dumbest campaign idea ever.

5. Gee, and I thought that the Clinton II inevitability meme was "a media construct"
Edited on Sun Dec-16-07 11:38 PM by ClarkUSA
That being said, I've got to wonder if Mark Penn did a focus group to choose the corniest name possible?

7. The Repubs will have a field day with it.
I have already heard references to "Broomstick One", and other such jokes. Basically, this ploy reeks of desperation, which feeds their view of HRC.

8. I think it's funny
Corny, of course, but so are most campaign things.

Let us not forget that Obama held an event for young people at a club and called it "Generation BO." Now, there's a campaign idea gone wrong.

Regardless, all campaigns come up with silly stuff. I think it's cute.

18. Indeed. Once she gets rid of the lackeys, she'll be fine...
... assuming we overlook that she voted to give a mentally unstable tyrant a blank check and is unrepentant about it, that she's chastised the fledgling Iraqi government for not capitulating to multinational oil blackmail, that she co-sponsored a bill to ban flag burning, that she thinks torture is AOK in the fallacious "ticking time bomb" scenario, and that she's branded another country's sovereign military a "terrorist group."

Yup. Things are looking good. Up, up, and away with the Hill-a-Copter!

34. heh. and the OP's candidate voted to do the same thing but went
a step or two further. Repentance is all very well and good for a normal vote but on this one it won't wash the blood off the hands of anyone who voted for that war. She's repudiated the loophole for torture and did so in September of this year. And until JE scrubbed if from his site he went further than just wanting the IRG named a terrorist entity.

Her support for the IWR and her late decision about torture are two of the reasons I can't support her, but JE doesn't get a pass.

Having said that, I think the helicoptor tour is dumb.

15. She's going to copter to 99 counties in 5 days.
The Hill-o-copter buzzing to 20 counties a day doesn't look like confidence. It looks likes someone with a lot of money worried about losing.

Will it have the name painted on the side?

26. Because they are a bunch of jerks
who are almost as bad as the Freepers!! The woman can't even talk (she's shrill), laugh (cackle), wear a summer top (cleavage) or even eat in peace (clogging her arteries), and don't get me started on the a-holes who call her a neo-con!!! Do you realize how offensive that is????

Geez, it makes me soooo proud to belong to the same party!!! There are millions of Clinton supporters out there, even if some of you don't believe it. If she manages not to win the nomination, give me one good reason why we should vote for the candidate of your choice given the nasty remarks emitted by too many of you? At this point I've started to think that maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to not even bother voting next Nov. and f*ck the whole party!
