The country needs a leader that will inspire.
The country wants change - big change. They need a leader that understands that first. Candidates that campaign around the edges are not in touch with the majority of Americans.

The country wants a leader that will challenge the status quo. People understand the concept of transfer of wealth. They know that the top 1% - 2% has been getting the majority of huge taxcuts of the last 7 years. They understand that there is no free lunch. Somebody will have to pay someday. They do not wish to put the huge credit card debt on the backs of their children and grandchildren.

The country understands that we invaded Iraq on trumped up charges of WMDs and nuclear materials. They understand that we invaded that country and that we are an occupying force. There is no dispute that many will never admit that. However, the majority wants a leader that will tell the truth, no matter how unpalatable it may be.

Truth is the main ingredient of inspiration. We need a leader that will challenge the proclamations of fear and the war on terror. It is sad that we have no such leader at this time.

1. I think it needs competence more than inspiration
Hopefully, we will get a President who will bring competence and not cronyism to the fore.

2. And that's why I support Biden.
He is all of that to me.

3. I like Biden but...
I don't think he inspires people the way it is needed.

5. "The country wants a leader that will challenge the status quo."
That's exactly right ~ and it's not likely that either party will nominate such a person. More and more I think our salvation, so to speak, will come through an Indie.
