Despite some short sighted and closed-minded posters here, who think THEIR agenda is the only agenda in the world, Obama, should he not be President, will be a fine Democrat. I disagree with his choice of singers, I disagree with some other positions he takes, but he's a fine man, a fine Democrat, and we don't all have to agree about him on every issue.

Obama fits in the Democratic party I grew up with, the party of McCarthy and Humphrey. The stakes are just a lot higher now, and involve the lives of milions in the Middle East, and the quality of life for gay people in America.
