The "No Difference" Report for 10/22/2007!
I keep hearing this crazy mash about how the Democrats are no different than the Republicans. Well, I think what we should do is post the votes in the House and Senate every day which are different, so maybe these people will be quiet (don't count on it).

Different:
H R 189, roll #983 (Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park Act): http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll983.xml

No different:
H R 523, roll #984 (Douglas County, Washington, PUD Conveyance Act): http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll984.xml

H RES 762, roll #985 (Supporting the goals of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week): http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll985.xml

BASTARDS! They caved on National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week! Next time they want my money, I'll tell them where they can stick it!

5. Day 1?
Um, hasn't it been about 10 months since the new Congress began?

Besides, it depends on what you are comparing. If you are saying there is little difference between them on social issues, that's probably not true (although it depends on WHAT social issues. If you compare their stance on Same Sex Marriage, there is NO difference). If you are saying there is little difference between them in financial issues, well, that's a little closer to the truth. And if you say that there's little difference between them as far as being bought by corporations, well, that's the truth.

3. The Dems were afraid to vote for Bullying Prevention Awareness Week
because they were scared the repubs would beat them up and take their lunch money.
