1. From what I understand .....
NO ONE has seen 'Hillary' signs ..... and therefore these numbers are highly suspect .....

I am not sure about that, but frankly, I haven't seen ANY signs ....

The whole 'visible political signs = proof of support' thing is overblown ....

18. This is a poll that does not matter. What matters are the states. And proof of this poll being
wrong look at Iowa. This race is closer than you think. Iowa will shut everyone up when the votes are cast and make them look like fools.

2. Hey, she's down from 33%
She used to be 33% ahead of Obama. Now she's only 25% ahead. Thanks.

6. Not in this poll
this seems to be her widest lead yet.

She's up 11 points since June, and Obama's down 11 points.

But I never get tired of facts from the Anti-Clinton Just Making Shit Up School of Reporting.

9. I didn't make anything up
There have been polls that say she's ahead by 33% points. Not this one.

I get so sick of those who are from the she's inevitable the rest of you have to suck it up school of polls.

Polls fluctuate. That was my point.

11. Well
it's only fair to say somebody is up or down based on the same poll.

I don't know what polls you're talking about, but it's certainly not the ARG poll.

To claim she's "down" in this latest polls is dishonest.

12. Washington Post/ABC poll
Had her ahead by 33%. The point is--polls fluctuate. Some polls have her leading by larger numbers, others don't. As long as people keep posting polls, there will be different numbers. It gets tedious.

15. Again
Taking one poll and comparing it an entirely different one, then saying "she's down" is a lie.

According to the same poll, she's up.

that Clinton has financed the vast bulk of her campaign through lobbyist donations.

3. How does she do against guiliani, because that is probably what it will be?
I have no doubt that the MSM will be out for the attack on her after she most likely gets the nomination

I hope her campaign is ready for them bringing up the Arkansas project, and other sleaze. I think as long as she is given the opportunity to speak, she should be able to hold her own.

8. Nobody on this green earth ....
Has more experience dealing with political slime than Hillary Clinton ....

One of the positives in her campaign, which many consider a negative; The right wing has been savaging her for years .....

Yet I consider this a positive because: All the slime from the Right has been heard time and time again, and would not sway the electorate anymore than has already occurred ... We have all heard it for years .... SHE has heard it, and has developed responses for it ....

IF there were more dirt on Hillary than we already know, it would already be out there ....

The Hillary Haters are too driven to hold an ace up their sleeve .... They have already blown their wad .....

Their powder is all wet ...

4. Some Interesting trends in the poll > > >
Edited on Sun Oct-14-07 07:54 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
***
Clinton and Obama both have roughly the same level of support with independents as they do with Dems. Edwards is the only candidate to do appreciably better with IND (or worse with Dems... same thing), though at low levels of support.

***
...Clinton 39% men - 50% women
...Edwards 17% men - 9% women
...Biden 9% men - 2% women

Obama is roughly even with men and women. (18 & 21)

Now we know why Edwards cannot gain traction. His charm is wasted on the ladies because of Hillary. I'm shocked he does TWICE as well with men! I guess it's all rust-belt breadwinner economic insecurity stuff.

***
Trends this year:

Biden> steadily up (at low levels)1,2,3,4,5
Clinton> steadily up
Obama> Unevenly Down
Richardson> blip of interest, then down
Edwards> pure flatline

5. My own poll
Taking with folks who claim to be core Dems often they say they will vote for Hill, but when I ask them who they would really want to see nominated, they confess someone else. I think her folks want to drive us over the Cliff of numbers when in reality most don't want to go there. I support Biden first to be honest.

7. Tell us about your poll
what was your sample size? How did you randomize your subjects? How did you accommodate for age, race, gender and location? What's your margin of error?

22. Hrmm
I don't think that many of you realise how many households out there no longer use landlines. I on average get about 3 phone numbers a day about 5-6 days a week from customers. "Is this your home or cell number sir/ms.?" -- "Oh I don't have a landline anymore". I haven't had one for about 9 years myself... and there are two voters in my house who will go for Kucinich, Obama, or Edwards depending on the Iowa etc results.

Besides "Business loves Hilary" so I refuse to trust their polls and media hype. I still have yet to meet anyone in person that supports Hillary. Most are vehemently opposed to her. I'm afraid we'll lose if she wins the primary.

23. Classic anti-Clinton post
"Besides "Business loves Hilary" so I refuse to trust their polls and media hype. I still have yet to meet anyone in person that supports Hillary."

So every poll is corrupt, Indenturedebtor? All in the same direction?

Zogby?
USAToday/Gallup?
ABC/WashPost?
ARG?
AP/Ipsos?
Pew?
Harris?
Fox?
NBC/WSJ?
CNN?
Quinnipiac?
Cook/RT?

Every single one of them shows Clinton in the lead. Not one of them has had any other candidate in the lead at any time in 2007. You don't believe any of them, Indenturedebtor?

Have you ever considered that you are nuts? Have you ever thought that the fact that you haven't met any Hillary supporters in person is a reflection on you, not her popularity?
