Does Anyone Keep A Record Of Pundits Predictions........

just curious - there are so many pundits on the cable news and the sunday morning news shows that render their opinions and make predictions as to what will happen given all kinds of situations. They keep getting invited back as so-called experts - but are they really?

Does anybody keep a record of how right they are in what they say or predict. Are they right all the time? 75% of the time? 50% of the time? 25% of the time? Never right?

Somehow we should be able to document their track record. This way we'd know who to listen to and who is just blowing smoke. Maybe then we'd get some good information from the media. Maybe those with bad track records would slowly fade into obscurity and we'd only have real experts assessing situations - instead of just talking heads.

I'm sick and tired of being fed a bunch of B.S. I'm tired of having others buy into what all these pundits are saying as gospel truth - not being able to think and assess the situation for themselves - and just spitting back what they heard on TV.

If we have to rely on someone else to assess situations for us - I would rather have those on the air that are more right than wrong. Are there any groups out there that rate the pundits?

Media Matters is the only one I know of, and they just go after the biggest lies.
