Iraq:Why we have to leave now
The main strean media is not reporting it. No one else is saying it. We have virtually no allies! Whether in terms of feet on the ground or monetary assistance, our allies have bailed. We are doing this madness alone. If stability in Iraq is so important, why aren't the Saudis sending massive numbers of troops and cash? How about the other neighbors of Iraq. Why aren't they contributing more, a hell of a lot more?

England is pulling their troops, Japan has pulled their troops. There is but a smidgeon left of allied feet on the ground, not to mention contributions to the effort. Why are we pulling their weight?

The answer:The invasion of Iraq was a monumental mistake. The longer we stay, the more we lose.

Republicans want to fight this war. Fine. Line the soldiers in Iraq up, tell them democrats can go home and republicans can stay. See how many you have left.

1. Couldn't agree more
"Republicans want to fight this war. Fine. Line the soldiers in Iraq up, tell them Democrats can go home and republicans can stay. See how many you have left."

Also send the stateside, arm-chair warmongers over there, too. Let them put life and limb where their ignorant and loud mouths are!

2. The Saudis sent 15 "troops" on 9/11/01
That was there "contribution" to this obscene madness.

As for the cash, no one really knows how much $$$ exchanged hands prior to that day. But I bet Bush does...
