Hillary has some time to recover. DU's new target: OBAMA!!
Did you get the memo?

GET HIM!!!

The lies and distortions about Obama, his record, and him are increasing on DU.

Business as usual, I see!!

Anyone else seeing this pattern?

5. Font runners and favorites get special treatment I guess - I missed the threads
you're refering to as I just got back from work -

Who said what - actually the who is unimportant - what was said/what was the distortion of the day?

6. Someone posted last night that they'd campaign against Obama. BUHWAWAWA
If that doesn't smack of troll I don't know what does. Who would waste time campaigning against someone they don't like when they could campaign for someone they do like.

Seems like freeper logic to me.

10. no...but to be fair, I haven't been on long enough to
necessarily notice them...

Personally, I'm leaning towards supporting Kucinich, for now. I'm not that impressed with anyone else running...including Obama...but I'm not attacking any of the other candidates and trying to keep an open mind.

I'd hate to think that Kucinich supporters would stoop to that kind of behavior (being naive, I suppose)

13. None of it will matter much anyway, once the debates begin. Debates have a way of
bringing folks to realize that some candidates just project themselves and the issues better than others.

At least in the Dem party.

GOPs usually go with whoever their party elites tell them to get behind.

14. That would be terrible if...
DU was all that influential in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Or controlled his fundraising efforts.

So, there's people here trashing Obama. Always been people here trashing somebody or other-- death matches over candidates are a DU specialty, in case no one noticed.

Seems there was a mass exodus from DU back around 2004 when some favorite candidates didn't make it and blood feuds around here got a bit too much. Whole new websites and boards were set up by DU exiles back then, and some might even still be around.

We had trolls and infiltrators back then, too, and they seemed a little more talented than a lot of the present crew of shitstirrers, but we also had a bigger crew of factfinders who would immediately refute the bullshit and back it up with sources. Alas, some of the best of those either got tarred and feathered out of here or just picked up their marbles and left in disgust.

I'm afraid it's too much to hope that this time around will be any better than the last, but we shall see.

Hope springs eternal...

is to start after Obama, using her media connections to try and discredit his campaign. It\\\'s about to go full-tilt.

21. True! LOL, he even stole my Goddess of Peace thingy!
That kind of set a light bulb off. Then I checked his other posts.

Kinda funny in a way I guess, as long as he doesn't do anything drastic before they put a stop to it. Imagine if the real wyldwolf sees it and they get in a flame with each other. Now that would be interesting to people not in the know.

It could happen to anyone.

Yeah for sure. Anyone with an l or even an o could be switched with a 1 or I for the l or a zero for the o.

Copy the name here in this thread and just paste it in the search function and you'll get the other posts. Let me know if it works for you.

searching for wyldwoIf.

Haven't read them all yet. I don't think DU has a rule about trying to mimic another user, but it might be something for Admins to consider.

edit to add: just read them. A bunch of "nothing" posts. Either trying to get his post count up so he can start a thread or seeing if anyone would notice, or both.

26. I alerted just to see if this was a rule violation.
It was on another thread, and it's been awhile, but the mimic's still here, so I guess it's ok. Really kind of a creepy thing to do though. I can't imagine the intention at this point.

"Members are not permitted to have more than one account on Democratic Underground."

Obvious to me this is a DUer with ax to grind. He/she can't do it words and ideas, so he/she resorts to freeper-like tricks.

Because they express their views. Disappointing, the direction of this board these days.

29. I have nothing against Obama
I have pointed out though that he will have an extremely hard time getting elected in all southern states and most swing states.

Trust me, his positions on gun control and his middle name "Hussein" will be a killer there.

33. Middle Name
So you are telling me People are so uneducated and stupid that they will not vote for someone because of a middle name. His biggest problem down south will be his color not his middle name. I am from the south. We would all like to pretend we have come a long way with race. However, we will see with this election if we have come far enough.

36. Listen..
What I am telling you is that if Obama is the nominee then the REAL scrutiny starts by the public at large. When the population in Tennessee, NC, VA, etc. start actually LEARNING that his middle name is Hussein, they will have second, third, and fourth thoughts about him.

That is in addition to his EXTREMELY anti-gun POV that will be well touted throughout the south and midwest. He'll never ever make it past a strong Pug nominee like Thompson.

Remember, I am not talking about the esoteric and unreal place that is DU and the "Blue Bubble" states that cannot fathom anything but what they know in San Diego or NYC. I am talking about the reality of a national election.
