Howard Dean — What a Guy! (Wonkette "Wonk'd" Sighting)
I love this man!

Sat across the aisle from Howard Dean tonight (3/29) on a New York bound train. Wasn’t sure it was him at first, but his voice is unmistakable. He got on at Philly and didn’t speak to anyone but his wife on the phone, explaining that he was riding coach because it was cheaper. Surprisingly not surgically attached to a Blackberry, he instead read the Financial Times and the business section of the Post, did the crossword, and recycled it all on his way out.

2. No Wonder We Lost The Congress
Carville was right - Dean cost us the Congress in 2006. Truly a loss of Rumsfeldian proportion.

(Yes, yes :sarcasm:)

Never get enough of Dr. Dean's wisdom and 'everyman'-ness.
He SO should have been our President.

6. Betcha this is why he was in PA

"He has created a subcommittee to the DNC called 'Faith in Action,' which is comprised of 20 clergy persons," Professor Emeritus Tony Campolo said.

This group consists of people from all different religions, including Protestants, Catholics and Muslims. This group's job is to spark dialogue between Democratic politicians and people of faith, and it has held various summits all over the country. Key speakers at these events have included Jim Wallis, Tony Campolo and Howard Dean.

"He is really opening himself and the party to faith," Campolo said.

... "I am excited for him to come and for people to learn that there are other issues besides abortion and gay rights," Meyer said. "There are issues that are Biblical, and one might be surprised to find they have more in common with the Democrats."

8. Good..because this has been
one of the great fallacies perpetuated ad infinitum that people of faith should be aligned with the republicons who have no values.

Dean sounds like a true fiscally conservative and socially liberal New Englander..He's careful with his money.
