I am a former Republican, radicalized by that party over the years.

I am now a Democrat.

I have known Camp Casey lawyer and social revolutionary, Buddy Spell, for thirty five years and have become part of his family.

His wife, Annie, is up for election to the Covington, LA City Council on Saturday. I have been working to elect Annie for six weeks now because I believe the city council is a good start.

When I was younger and a Republican, I thought Buddy Spell was a fucking nut. Everything he predicted during the Reagan administration has come to pass. He was correct when he said we are moving dangerously to the right.

I support Annie's campaign as a stepping stone to Congress. The election is on Saturday.
