How many prosecutors did Gonzales eliminate from Lam, Mckay, et al to deal with the shortfall in whatever prosecutions was the 'performance issues'?

Rod Blagojevich. The recent pace has slowed, however, as the office fights budget restraints. It is down about 25 prosecutors. Durbin blamed the underfunding on the high cost of war.

8. looks like San Diego office is slightly

smaller than Chicago like 127 v 135 attorneys. So I'm guessing Lam had comparable staff cuts.
