Frank Gaffney is a douchebag
Edited on Fri Feb-23-07 08:59 AM by underpants
Just a week ago he completely made up a quote that he attributed to Abe Lincoln (thus setting off a RW big lie mini-campaign) and

Now he says that Saddam DID have "hot production lines" of bio and chem agents and that they were going to put them in aerosol cans to ship to Europe and the US.

Frank Gaffney of The Washington Times and the newly-formed — and failing — 'Victory Caucus' falsely claims once again that the Bush administration is vindicated for invading Iraq because Saddam Hussein really did have active WMD programs with which he threatened the United States.

4. Aerosol cans. Unbelievable.
And exactly WHO would be at the other end to disperse them? What would the plan be?

And of course, Gaffney has all the documentation to prove this.

5. Do you think these aerosol cans might attract some post 9/11 attention
I'm sorry some post 20th century attention--I don't think they are banned but they are definitely less prevelant well maybe Saddam had recruited some big blue haired ladies to do this or maybe they were going to circumvent the airlines thing and ship them in shipping containers.....

uh huh sounds like a lot more trouble and way too may loose moving parts.

Gaffney is not the only one of course. We all know they are going to try desperately to get this revision into the story.

Notice that Tucker said NOTHING back to him.

11. Tucker just completely ignored the statement
He was on his own mission to punish Republicans who dared to speak out against the war.

They really live in their own alternate reality, don't they?

6. February of 2002, Gaffney and fellow PNACer James Woolsey were on "Hardball"
insisting that Iran and Syria should be next on the list after we topple Saddam. The somber duo droned on in Cheney-type monotone while Tweety sat across from them mystified. :puke:

9. Aerosol cans! With ozone-depleting propellants!
I really think that the broadcast and cable media outlets have an affirmative duty to keep delusional retards off the nation's airwaves. Putting on Frank Gaffney or Bill O'Reilly would be prima facie evidence of irresponsibility.

10. he's also a war profiteer
...and why the networks fail to point out his conflict of interest is outrageous. No one who profits from war ought to be allowed to comment on the public's airwaves without that caveat being exposed.
