Obama seen as VP to every Dem Candidate....You heard it here, first!
Hillary, Edwards, Dodd, Biden and everyone except Vilsack want OBAMA on the ticket. He's the "FUSION" Candidate for '08!

We don't know if Gore's running but wouldn't it be great if HE also saw the VALUE of OBAMA on the TICKET!

We finally have an Immigrant Candidate that EVERY DEM WANTS on the TICKET! Think of the Dem VOTES OBAMA will bring in! It will be AMAZING!!!

1. As he has been against the war, I have no problem with it.
I like actually. A whole anti-war ticket! How unlike 2004!

2. That's fine with me. In fact, that's PERFECT with me!

I think the best thing Obama can do is spend the next eight years looking over a president's shoulder. Then he can DARE people to say he's not qualified to run in 2016! I doubt the DLC would allow Hillary to pick him as a running mate, though--they'd want someone they could control even more than Hillary.

4. In a way, I would have to agree
Obama is a brilliant man with a great future in American politics. However, his main ambition at this point should be the Vice-Presidency. It will make things much easier for him by 2016.

Still, he's my favorite of the actual bunch.

3. the "Immigrant du Jour doesn't bother anyone? Soup of the Day?
It bothers me. When someone is "EVERYONE's CHOICE" because they are THE CHOICE of the DAY?

6. Obama is a contender for the Presidency
and I hope he wins the nom. However, if Clinton wins, I doubt Obama would be VP. Clinton would probably want to play it safe on the bottom of the ticket, realizing that two historical precedents on one ticket may be too much sadly for the the country at this time. I know her husband loves Bayh and Richardon with his well-rounded credentials and hispanic heritage may also be an option. Plus, keep in mind, Obama and Clinton are going to be oppenents of each other. With Obama being her biggest competition, I doubt he won't end up a bit "bloody" after the primary is over. During the 04 primary, Edwards managed to stay above the fray because he never ran a negative add, and even was resistant to criticize Kerry during the last debate. The selection of Edwards was largely the exception when it comes to VP nominees because candidates who run against each other usually develop bad blood or grudges after a very competitive campaign. If someone other than Obama wins the nom, look for the VP candidate to be someone who didn't run, ie, Kathleen Selebius or Evan Bayh.

9. Warner, Bayh, Clark, etc.
I agree, Obama would not work as the VP for Hillary or Edwards. Hillary needs balance and someone to win the Swing states - like Warner, Bayh, or Clark. It wouldn't work for a woman and minority on the Dem ticket.

Edwards greatest weakness is perceived inexperience and the VRWC would be all over him and Obama. Edwards would select Bayh, Clark (even though Clark dislikes him), Richardson, or Clinton.

Even with Sebelus, Kansas is not going blue.

7. Doubt it. Richardson will be more desirable.

Your reasoning is very flawed. African Americans are ALREADY a dependable vote. Why would they need Obama to solidify this block. Hispanics are a different story. Think about it....if you can. :eyes:

BTW, what "immigrant" vote are you talking about. Boy, you can sure come up with some far out stuff..

is that Obama lived in other parts of the world for a part of his life.

In some way that must classify him as an immigrant - unless, being from Hawaii makes you one?
