Cheney attacks majority of Americans who are concerned about Iraq war

If you are one of the 70% or so of Americans who have a problem with George Bush's Iraq strategy, or lack thereof, you are making a "dangerous blunder" and appeasing Osama bin Laden, per Mr. 20% himself, Dick Cheney.

Of course, that's utterly ridiculous. The two men in America who put a smile on Osama bin Laden's face every day are the two men who haven't caught him in 6 years, and who do everything in their power on a daily basis to help him recruit even more terrorists. Those men are named Dick and George.
<snip>

See Dick. See George. See Dick and George make "dangerous blunders"...

Dick and George OWN this war. Now, they are desperate to pass that "ownership" to anyone they can...

War Profiteers. War Criminals. Treasonous, rat bastards.

:grr:

13. Remember Laura's words about manipulation?

“It’s always easy to manipulate people’s feelings, especially when you are talking about diseases that are so difficult.”

The disease is called BushCheneyitis

on edit:
the cure is a BushCheneyectomy

2. The rat bastards can't throw all of us in jail.
There have got to be mass protests. Now.

The murderous thugs need to be dragged out onto the streets and . . .

They've trashed the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

And the fuckin media sycophants have helped them do it. Journalists won't stand up for truth like they did during Vietnam.

People of conscience, we are all alone. It's up to us.

8. We are living the exact scenario that Walter Cronkite warned of in his
retirement speech. By forcing the news departments to compete in a ratings game to generate ad revenue, we force them to cater to the LCD, and deprive ourselves of any possibility of getting the news that is relevant.

14. Journalist during VN did report the bad news, protest, etc.
Imagine that, and that was the most famous Liberal Media! sarcasm of course, and then that darn liberal media hacked on Clinton with reckless abandonment. What's the deal with a neo-con administration that is given a free pass from the "liberal media"?

Our govt. and the free press are all damn liars. Only place to find the other side is through the internet, books and a few magazines. May the tv and newspapers die in hell too (along with neo-cons).

5. Cheney got 20% of the BushCo deferments from military service to America
Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 02:18 PM by SpiralHawk
I mean, he got 5 freaking military deferments because, in his own words, he "had other priorities."

So the VP to Commander AWOL is an expert on DANGEROUS BLUNDERS.

And he is also an EXPERT on chickenhawkery, like most republicons.

Their speciality is WAR PROFITEERING

7. 17 families run the world and the Bush's and Bin Ladens.
Are part of this. We have met all of Ben laden demands and punishing him is not in the picture. According to Skull and Bones we are "The Barbarians" and are 5 min behind the true rulers of the world. We are but pawns to be manipulated to do their bidding. May be accused of wearing a tinfoil hat. but the longer this goes , the more it seems to be true.:tinfoilhat:

Edited on Sun Jan-14-07 03:05 PM by fooj
A heroic move...

A repub Senator switching parties not because of "ideological" beliefs but because it MUST BE DONE to save our country. What a gift that would be. Neuter LIEberman and do what's best for America all in the same stroke of the pen.

I won't hold my breath but I can still hold out HOPE.

21. What the Democratic party should do...
This is an add to my post: We know the general public is not going to know what congress is doing...they don't pay attention. The only way to let them know what's going on is to inject it into their TV on-time. Hell's bells, I have two offspring who never watch C-span and only occasionally watch CNN; like all adult children, they think they know better. One watches football and NASCAR, and the other watches what her husband, a Repub, watches. (They're balanced by two siblings who do pay attention and are just as appalled as I am at the Mafia who are now running the country.) The only way to reach the uninformed is to put ads in front of them that are just as loud and attention-grabbing as what they're already watching!

We are not under any obligation to convince anyone.

The time has come to ACT. Actions speak louder than words..

Then await Republican outcry..

released from Pandora's Box along with all the other Evils of the cosmos.

HOPE=FAITH, when wrongs need to be put right... by never giving up.
This new Congress cannot fail to stand up to our UN-American values government.
This is the job they were elected to rectify.

19. What the Democratic party
should do is put out TV ads NOW, during prime time, when the sheep are watching their opiod programs, making plain ahead of time that: 1) we have no choice (like you said); 2) we have warned the Two Stooges that we WILL cut off funding; and 3) if they go ahead anyway, the onus will be on them. All in third-grade, playground language, with major emphasis on where the fault will lie when they go ahead. We have to stoop to their level, regusting as that may be.
