I think I beat the freakers to this one;
Subdivision bans peace sign Christmas wreath
Homeowners association threatens to impose $25-a-day fine

DENVER - A homeowners association in southwestern Colorado has threatened to fine a resident $25 a day until she removes a Christmas wreath with a peace sign that some say is an anti-Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

Some residents who have complained have children serving in Iraq, said Bob Kearns, president of the Loma Linda Homeowners Association in Pagosa Springs. He said some residents have also believed it was a symbol of Satan. Three or four residents complained, he said.

If it wouldn't hurt so much, I'd laugh for a week on this one!

1. Since it's only a handful of fundies
who have their drawers in a knot, it's only fair that all external Xmas decorations be banned by the HOA since they're all advertising a religion.

I honestly think they need to contact a lawyer over this one, sue to force the issue.

I'm sure the bug up Kearns's arse can be exterminated. Oh, and you did know the other 5 members of the HOA board refused to vote against the peace wreath, so he fired them, right?

Fundies would so like to go through life without being reminded that the rest of us live here, too, that we need to get in their faces and remind them at every opportunity.

3. Hope they don't go to Mass
Whatever else the Catholic Church may be, they are very big on PEACE.

Peace be with you.
And also with you.

Exchange greetings of Peace. Congregation shakes the hands of those around them saying, "Peace be with you".

It is also repeated the the end of Mass, "Go in Peace".
