Democrats Inherit the Mother of All Messes
It's hard to imagine a time in history when one group of people screwed up so much in such a short time - except for maybe the Nazis. But this group in the White House, from George W Bush on down, have made a mess like none in American history.

For starters, they preemptively invade another sovereign country under false pretenses. In the process of creating that country in the image of America, they lose the country to a civil war. We are stuck in a quagmire and nobody can envision a way out. And nobody really knows how long we will be there. It is a mess of gigantic proportion.

But that's not all. At the same time they decided to fight a world-wide "war on terror", they decided to cut taxes on the wealthiest people in this nation. In no recorded history has a nation fought a war and cut taxes at the same time. Not even the Romans were so foolish.

So in the process, they left us with another $4 trillion dollars in debt, most for our children and grandchildren. They scoff at it as if it were just $20 dollars they lost at the racetrack. The interest alone on this debt is larger than most of the countries of the world's GDP. In the meantime, we have lost all prestige and respect around the world.

Yes, the Republicans have left the Democrats with the Mother of all Messes. The best the Republicans can offer is, "Well, where is the Democratic plan?" Where is the plan to clean up the mess they have made? The Democrats had better bring a big broom and a big shovel to clean up after this rampaging herd of elephants...

1. And when we finally clean up the mess,
people will forget who made it, and invite the elephants in for another round of political debauchery at the public's expense

2. Not if Keith Olbermann can help it.
God bless you Keith. I loved your "special comment" tonight regarding our dear leader.
You've got guts. You've got balls. You say eloquently what the rest of us will not or can not say. Hope you're around in ten years.

6. As I have often said in the past. a state of the nation report by the democrats is vital.
Edited on Tue Nov-21-06 01:51 AM by wake.up.america
There has to be a clear, concise presentation of just how screwed up the country is in the areas of the economy, race relations, foreign policies, etc.

The Republicans are gearing up for 2008, while Demos are scrambling to get the country back on course.

The Repubs are going to throw everything over to the Demos, then blame the other party in 2008 for a mess, which will take years to correct.

16. We don't have to "catapult the propaganda"
because we have the truth on our side but I think rubbing this stink in the public's nose long enough to make a gooooood lasting impression is what's needed...

18. If they have the Nations Best Interest at heart...Ya would think they would help Solve the Mess
But all they do is whine:"well, what are the Dems gonna do?" "Whats taking them so long to fix it?" "Where are their Plans?"

It took 12 years for the GOP to create this shit and its gonna take 12 years or better to fix the damn thing

Ever notice, they never come up with GOOD PLANS/CONCEPTS

Most of the time...they moan and groan...talk small talk, and WHINE...
