TX-4th Court of Appeals Candidate covers up for pedophile!

I just got back from a Democratic Party function & spoke with the Democratic Candidate, Richard Garcia, Jr. The (r) in the race is Rebecca Simmons. I know both of them from law school; Richard was my mentor & Rebecca Simmons was one of my professors. Justice Simmons in recent weeks has written an opinion in YMCA v. Adams, in which she reversed & remanded a civil case against the YMCA and zeroed out the jury verdict for Adams. The facts: the child in this case attended the YMCA summer camp & was sexually assaulted by one of the YMCA workers. Had the YMCA done a background check on this employee, they would have discovered that he was a registered sex offender! The jury, which heard weeks & weeks of testimony, found for Adams, and awarded him $500K for future damages. Simmons reversed the decision OF THE JURY and zeroed out the award, saying SHE couldn't see how the jury could have found the child would suffer damages in the future.

So, Republicans aren't just covering up for pedophiles in DC; THEY'RE COVERING UP FOR THEM HERE IN TEXAS!!!

If you live in the counties served by the Fourth Court of Appeals, get this story out & tell your friends to vote for Richard Garcia, Jr.! He's done a lot of work on behalf of children in CPS cases, as well as indigent defense work. Let's kick this Republican pedophile apologist off the Court! Texans deserves better than her!
