Is Bush an asset or a liability to the Republicans in this election?

If he is a liability, we should be encouraging him to campaign for all the Republican candidates. If he were an asset, his favorable polls would be above 35%. How should the Democrats handle his "unpopularity" to their advantage? In my opinion, they should tie all the Republicans to George W Bush as "rubber-stampers" and "yes men" for destroying our Constitution and running our nation into the ground with an unbearable debt and an unpopular war. It is not just Bush that is the problem - it is the Republicans in Congress. They cannot be trusted with the future of America. Simple as that.
